Got your own horse but nowhere to go?

Harmony's Rocky Farm offers Rocky's Roost, a warm, rustic, two-story cottage nestled in the woods of historic Halifax County, Virginia.  Located a mile from the nearest paved road, Rocky's Roost Cabin offers quiet comfort and nature in peaceful abundance.

The cabin is completely surrounded by woods and rests only a few hundred yards from the visible remnants of Blaine's Mill, a pre-Revolutionary War era saw mill that was all but destroyed by British General Cornwallis.  On your drive to the cabin you'll pass a working farm where the fully-restored residence also predates the Revolutionary War.

Rocky's Roost offers shelter for your horses and a fenced pasture.   You can ride on the cabin property or take advantage of the abundant riding opportunities available in the area. 

Or, you can explore the creeks that run in front of the cabin, drop a line in our pond or just relax on the covered porch and listen to the birds.  All you need to bring is your towels and food.

Don't feel like cooking?  Rocky's Roost is only 15 minutes from South Boston where you can get everything from fast food to four-star cuisine at Bistro 1888.  South Boston also sports a NASCAR track, community fine arts at The Prizery and a sampling of the region's rich history at the South Boston Halifax County Museum.

    $50 per night (up to six occupants) without horses
    $75 per night (up to six occupants) with horses

    $300 per week (up to six occupants) without horses

    $400 per week (up to six occupants) with horses
